Carey Usher

Carey Usher, a resident of Augusta County, has been with Mary Baldwin University for 20 years, serving as the inaugural dean of the women’s college, as well as associate provost. She teaches sociology and the occasional criminal justice course and has expertise in student success and retention and data-driven methodologies. Carey has been a licensed foster parent since 2019 and is passionate about children, families, and the community. Her favorite activities include spending time with her family, camping, working with local cub scouts, and sitting by the ocean. She is delighted and eager to begin her work with Foster Love Ministries. We are so honored to have Carey on our team!
